I read this book from front to back in one sitting.I absolutely loved story. From the very beginning you could picture in your mind that school officials would indeed blow off a child about an 'alleged' danger. But Cody was not only determined. He was strong, brave and resourceful! Thank you Ryan P Ruiz for an awesome book. I now have my 13 year old granddaughter reading it and she is proudly wearing her 'Black Cadillac - Stranger Danger' Wrist Band. I would personally recommend that this book be read by all kids! I look forward to future books by Ryan P Ruiz!

By far one of the best books I have ever read. It kept me wondering the entire way through. When your at a point where you can't put it down, you know it's a great book. Ryan hit the nail on the head with this one. Can't wait for his next one! My 12 year old son and wife are also reading this book.
The way the author captures your attention, it makes you not want to put this book down! The storyline hits home on a serious topic that every adult discusses at some point with children. It's written so well that younger audiences can easily read it on their own. Please share with others, awareness is the key. Would love to see it made into a movie, great job!!!
After a chance encounter with the man in The Black Cadillac, Cody becomes obsessed with finding out if this man is responsible for the child abductions in the area. With the help of his best friend the two boys conduct an investigation that will change their lives. A fast moving story filled with suspense and surprises.
Reading this book reminded me of the importance of teaching my little one the dangers that kids can face. The fact that the author drew on real life experiences to create this story makes this all the more engaging and important. There will be a serious discussion about stranger danger in my house tonight, and hopefully yours too.
I found this book to be very intriguing, easy to read, and very hard to put down. I started reading it last night, read for about an hour and went to bed with the story on my mind. I could not wait to get home from work and start reading again...and I did not put it down until I finished every last word. This book is very relevant to the times, with the most recent news event surrounding the Castro story and the brave girls who were held in captivity for all those years. If one person would have had the incentive, the suspicion, and the overwhelming effort that one little thing was wrong and didn't makes sense Like Cody and Zach did...maybe just maybe things would have been so different. Thank you Ryan for this book, I was in tears at the end.. Cant wait to read the next novel! Good Luck with the Stranger Danger Awareness tour...You are doing a Great thing! 5 out 5 stars to YOU!
I found this book very intriguing
Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop until the end and Ryan gave me that satisfaction
I always like a happy ending especially where kids are concerned. I just wish all abducted could be saved
Unfortunately that will never happen
I would prefer to pay for therapy for those rescued than to continue to pay for criminals

A very gripping, suspenseful story that I read straight through because I didn't want to put it down. The book's message, young people staying alert to "stranger danger" and the need for adults to pay attention to childrens' concerns and take them seriously, is such an important topic! One word of caution some children place themselves in a dangerous situation because they don't seek the help of adults, but if parents and educators are aware of this part of the plot, it could be used as a teaching tool.
